James Tate is eyeing a Fracture at the Qatar Prix de l’Abbaye in Longchamp next month following the colt Campaign in the Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh, for Invincible Army.
The four-year-old stayed on strongly in the closing stages to take third place behind Fairyland in the Group One dashboard at the trip.
Invincible Army has made his mark as a performer that was six-furlong since completing Stakes at Glorious Goodwood as a juvenile.
However, Tate was buoyed with his effort on Sunday and today gets got the Abbaye in his sights.
“He’s as clean as paint and trotted sound – so we’ve got plenty of options – but probably it’s going to be the Abbaye, I’d have thought,” said Tate.
“He ran well. He was third in a Group One in five, so on his very first attempt for a couple of years, so we might give it a second attempt”
Underneath The Stars could also head to Longchamp for its Qatar Prix Marcel Boussac, afterwards leaving Tate”defeated” when denied a smooth passing in the Moyglare Stud Stakes.
Her chance had gone at that time the girl of Night Of Thunder acquired a clean run – defeated two lengths by the computer simulated nfl picks , Love.
“She had been bothersome because she got stuck in a pocket behind the winner and also the second, so she never got out before the final furlong,” said her coach.
“She ran a solid-enough race, finishing fifth, but I thought maybe she would have picked up a little black kind had she got a clean streak.
“She had been attracted five of nine, and the speed wasn’t overly rapid, and she got a clean run at it.”
Tate keeps hope that there’s more to emerge.
He added:”She was not beaten much, (and) I had been happy with her run, but I’d like to believe we could be a little better than that.
“I could see the most likely race to being the Prix Marcel Boussac.
“There is the Rockfel, weekend after next at Newmarket, however, if the weather stays dry that might be on the fast side for her – so we might visit Longchamp rather than”
