Its a star-studded matchup (if everybody plays) along with the marquee matchup from the NBA on Friday night since Houston visits the Los Angeles Clippers at a nationally televised event.

ESPN has an NBA doubleheader on Friday. My SBR cohort Jordan Sharp will have a record of the first game featuring the Spurs. Theres only 1 game leaning off Friday after 9 p.m. ET plus it is this excellent matchup between the Rockets and Clippers from L.A.
Of course, that the Clippers trading for Paul George from Oklahoma City this summer is also at sending Russell Westbrook into Houston, what compelled the hand of Thunder GM Sam Presti. This is going to be the very first time this season that Westbrook will move up against George as well as if everyone playswith, the first time Westbrook along with James Harden will battle L.A.s Dynamic Duo of both George and Kawhi Leonard. When he might get the night off with Leonard, however, you dont know.
These teams met Nov. 13 in Houston, but George hadnt made his season debut yet off shoulder surgery. The Rockets won 102-93 behind 47 points from Harden. Westbrook had two assists and only two points and fought in hitting. Clint Capela had 20 rebounds and 12 points.
Leonard had 26 to lead the Clippers however no additional starter had more than nine. Lou Williams had 20 off the seat but fellow reserve Montrezl Harrell four. You may recall Rockets guard Austin, his son, was getting some fun with that along with Clips coach Doc Rivers got ejected.
Houston has won four of their previous six in the series overall but dropped three of the previous five in L.A.
